Johnson Matthey

At Johnson Matthey, a 200-year-old British industrial chemicals company (FTSE 100 during most of my tenure; now FTSE 250 following the 2025 Catalyst Technologies divestiture), I served as the sole digital marketer for the Catalyst Technologies sector. The sector sells physical catalysts and licenses process technology to oil refineries, hydrogen plants, and chemical producers worldwide. The work spanned hydrogen, sustainable aviation fuel, carbon capture, and syngas.

In the final nine months I took on a dual role as Product Owner on the sector's digital transformation team, supporting matthey.com.

BakoDx

At Bako Diagnostics, I led creative and digital marketing across four sibling diagnostics brands, including the publicly named StrataDx and DermSTAT, through the onset of the pandemic.

The work involved unifying the brands under one parent identity and running a high-velocity launch cadence that included the company's first three COVID-19 tests under compressed pandemic timelines.

As Creative Director at C4 Belts I owned creative, production, and platform strategy. We re-platformed onto Magento 2 on AWS, ran a sustained product-launch cadence, and built the first-in-category online belt configurator that doubled as a turnkey co-branding path for enterprise buyers. The wholesale work that followed brought partnerships with PGA Tour, T-Mobile, and Mountain Dew, among others.

Monkey Wrench Brewing

Outside the full-time career I co-founded Monkey Wrench Brewing, a 16,000 sq ft facility in Suwanee, Georgia. I worked on the brand, audience, financing, and physical site over eight years of nights and weekends.

We opened in January 2020 directly into pandemic closures, and the audience I'd built over those years was what made the launch successful despite the conditions. I transitioned to silent partner in June 2020.

I started at Georgia Tech's Institute for People and Technology (IPaT), where I worked closely with the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) and the GVU Center to connect external interest with the right faculty and resources. The brand identity and communications work I did for those research centers won a CASE Award.
